L.I.F.T. Program

Love In Fragile Times Program

"Over the past year, B.I.G. Love Cancer Care has developed and facilitated the L.I.F.T. Program. The L.I.F.T. program's mission is to "lift up" cancer patients and their families who are in medical, financial or psychological crisis. With your amazing support, we have been able to meet numerous requests this year! We have donated over $1000 in monetary assistance for cancer families in need of food. We have met specific personalized requests from several patients near end of life (including spa days, special trips, cool parties, and creative birthdays). We have also helped numerous families in need of financial support by paying their rent or other household needs. We have provided several baby beds, strollers, and car seats. Just recently, we provided a cheesecake for a young cancer patient.and because he was so overwhelmed with joy and tears, we decided to provide one every week! And this month, through the help of The Woodlands Church, B.I.G. Love is able to meet over 20 of these special requests. We are deeply humbled and so grateful! Serving as the L.I.F.T. Coordinator this year has been a privilege and an honor. It is truly amazing to see how such simple things done with loving service can truly LIFT UP and brighten the lives and spirits of those in immense need. The social workers at the hospital have also expressed immense gratitude for the expedient and straightforward process of the L.I.F.T. program and how it meets the needs that no other nonprofit does. From my heart, thanks again to ALL who have helped to make this possible!"
